Jenny
was born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka into a Hindu family. At the age of 11 she was saved when a visiting missionary came to their village in Kopay, and held an outdoor evangelistic meeting. At this time, Jenny knew very little English but she remembers hearing the evangelist saying over and over, “You must be born again”. Jenny went forward to receive this new birth, not really knowing what it meant. From that day on, her life was transformed.

Training
Jenny went on to train as a nurse and spent four years working in this profession before going to the Middle East where she worked as a laboratory technician. During these years, God was constantly talking to Jenny about serving Him, but she found no opportunity to do so as a woman in either her homeland or the Middle East. In 1984, Jenny came to England to continue her education not realizing that God was about to turn her life around yet again. While in England, Jenny attended Bible College for three years.

God’s Calling – Church Planting In 1986 Jenny went to Paris, France on a two weeks holiday to visit some of her family there. This trip resulted in a new church being formed, following the salvation of her family and friends. Since 1986, Jenny has gone on to plant churches in Switzerland, France, Canada and Sri Lanka. In these churches there is an emphasis on strong enthusiastic leadership, with space being created for many to develop their gifts within the body, and an emphasis on non-religious Christianity. Words of knowledge, miraculous healings, and constant intercession are Jenny’s trademarks. People are discovering through these churches a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, answer to prayer and new relationships and friendships in the body of Christ. Most of those saved through Jenny’s ministry where Hindu’s, but they have now discovered the living God and are becoming a powerful influence for good in the communities into which they have been thrust around the world.

Author
Jenny is the author of two books, “Above the Ladder” and “Grains of Wheat”. She also writes a Daily Reading Book, “Anuthina Manna” in Tamil and produces a quarterly magazine for teaching and evangelism, “Unchanging Light”.

Vision
Called to be a mother to many nations, Jenny is continually moving from country to country and church to church giving Apostolic input into the churches that they have planted over the past 20 years, in Switzerland, France, Canada, Sri Lanka, England, and New Zealand.

Apostolic Ministry
Jenny and Karen's Apostolic Ministry has been very much a traveling ministry that has involved concentrated short-term efforts to establish foundations and secure breakthroughs. In 2 Timothy 4:17, Paul says, “But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me and that all the Gentiles might hear.” In brief, “Everyone must hear about Jesus”! This scripture has become engraved in their hearts, so they never looses an opportunity to Pioneer new ground for God. Jenny’s ability to hear from God very clearly has opened doors for her to prophecy into people’s lives, into churches and into nations. She has been filling the churches with fresh vision and motivating them to keep moving forward and not to settle down, but to keep on pioneering.Jenny places an emphasis on non-religious Christianity, leadership training and the delegation of responsibility. Through the past 13 years her work has moved forward through delegation, enabling Jenny to continue to church plant and pioneer in different countries.

Once a Pioneer always a Pioneer
Jenny’s heart continues to beat stronger and stronger for her own native country, Sri Lanka. In 1998, under very difficult circumstances, she planted her first church in Jaffna. There are now churches and house meeting in the areas of Irupalai, Erlaalai, Mesaalai, Kokuvil, and Kondavil.

Karen was born and raised in New Zealand. She left New Zealand as an adolescent to travel and explore different countries. As she was travelling with her christian friend, she borrowed her Bible and read the book of Acts, She was amazingly filled with the Holy Spirit and the love of God, and continued to seek more of Him. She went to the UK in 1987 and met Jenny when visiting Rainbow Church. Jenny was assisting in pastoring the church there. Once they were acquainted, Jenny asked Karen to help her in a campaign she was going to be doing in Birmingham.
