The Bible:
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and that none may add to or take away from it, except at their peril. (Rev: 22 vs. 18-19)
The Trinity:
We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and these three are one God. (Math 3 vs. 16, 28 vs. 19)
The Church:
We believe that the Church consists of all persons who have been born again through the power of the Holy Spirit and made new creatures in Christ Jesus (Romans 10vs 9-10, 2 Corinthians 5 vs. 17)
The Saviour:
We believe that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God (Romans 3 vs. 23) And that through the death and risen power of Christ, all who believe and confess Jesus as Lord can be saved from the penalty and power of sin. (Romans 11 vs. 29-36, Galatians 3 vs. 22-23)
The Healer:
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the healer, and that healing is provided for in the atonement. (1 Peter 2 vs. 24, Luke 4 vs. 18)
The Baptiser:
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Baptiser in the Holy Spirit and that this Baptism with signs following is promised to every believer. (Acts 2 vs. 38, Mark 16 vs. 16)
The Coming King:
We Believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive unto himself all Born Again Believers. (John 14 vs. 3, Acts 1vs 11, Daniel 7vs 13)
The Fruit:
We believe that every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour should produce the nine fold fruit of the Spirit as in Galatians 5 vs. 22-23.
The Gifts:
We believe that the Church should claim and manifest the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. As in 1 Corinthians 12 vs. 8-10.
The Ministry:
We believe God has given Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4 vs. 11, 12)
The Future State:
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of all Believers in Christ, and the eternal punishment of all those who reject Christ. (Daniel 12 vs. 2, John 5 vs. 29)
The Ordinances: We believe in the following ordinances:
· Partaking of the Lords Supper in memory of our Lord’s death and imminent return. (1 Corinth 11 vs. 24-26)
· Baptism by immersion for believers. (Math 3 vs. 16)
· The Laying on of hands (Mark 6 vs. 5, Acts 8 vs. 19, Luke 4 vs. 40)
· The healing of the sick through the power of Jesus Christ and in his name.
What we are:
New Living Ministries believes that JESUS is alive today and has the ability to intervene in the everyday affairs of people in response to believing prayer. We believe in personal Salvation, divine healing, Baptism in the Holy Spirit and faith for the miraculous in End Time Christianity.
Our Aim:
To present Jesus Christ as the answer to the multitude of human needs and to provide venues for Prayer, Worship, Teaching, Fellowship, and Evangelism for those who want to follow Christ. We are multi-Cultural also in catering for the needs of those in many nations.
What we are not: We do not claim to be the only true church.
We are not antagonistic to other Christian Churches
We are not teachers of new and strange doctrines
We are not a sect
We are not a temporary Charismatic Fellowship, but permanent to do the work of Jesus Christ here on earth.
How Local Churches run:
They are self-governing under the directorship of our Apostles, with locally appointed Pastors and elders (Team). Each church seeks God for direction and vision.
